Do You Know What Your Child Is Worth?

I know what my children are worth to me emotional, mentally, and physically. I love being woke by my daughter poking her head under the blanket and saying the word mommy while smiling.

That in itself is an awesome thing you as a parent can't truely put a price to what that is worth to you, but there are those that have actually can make a monetary amount off of your children.

Do you know who they are? There are 51 one of them.

These are what your children are worth to states that terminate parental rights. Take these numbers from your state and multiply that by how many children you have. That's alot of cash don't you think.

I have read the horror stories.

I have seen the effects of DFS. RE: Save Jackson Bortz in my sidebars.

This family is being destroyed over an accident.

The were proven innocent by medical documentation and still have yet to recieve their child back.

Take a look.

Take a read.

How can we help as parents?

What can we do about the big brothers and big sisters that can actually over rule a Judge's ruling?

You as a parent DO NOT have to let them into your house.

You as a parent CAN tape record or videotape each visit by these people.

You as a parent can fight back.

READ YOUR STATE LAWS!

KNOW YOUR STATE LAWS!

DON'T BE A VICTIM!

You have every right to have an attorney don't let these people tell you other wise.

Even if you are a non-custodial parent you have a right to be heard.

You have every right in the world to be involved with your children even in DFS custody do not let DFS tell you otherwise.

DFS or CPS

I am by far the perfect mother or a super mom, but I try to be the best mother I can be.

I mean, I bathe my children nightly sometimes two to three times depending on how much of a mess Gabbie gets to be.

I feed them three times daily.

I make sure they have decent clothes.

I give them a roof over their heads.

I give them love and lots of it.

What is a parent to do when a babysitter loses track of their child? A two year-old child at that. This happened to me about two weeks ago and now I am the one under investigation by DFS and the police.

You see I have a babysitter that watched my children while I was working. Well, on Friday nights I usually work 5 p.m to 1 a.m. it just so happens that on this particular Friday I was only working from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At 7:30 the manager tells me I have a phone call and it's about my daughter. So, I immediately go to the phone and listen to Lanita babble for a minute and then hear the words no mother or father should ever hear, "We can't find Gabbie." I ask, "What do you mean?" Her response was, "Gabbie's missing."

I remember dropping the phone and turning around to tell my manager that I have to go while trying to get my swipe card off of my apron. I run for the vestibule in front of me realizing that my other half, whom is also working at the time, has my keys. Immediately, I turn around and make a run for the dishroom down the server aisle. I scream, "Gerald I need the keys." He looked at me befuddled as he turns around realizing it is me screaming at him and says, "What's wrong." All I could manage to get out was, "Gabbie's gone". He looked at me really weird and this time I screamed it, "Gabbie's missing, come on". We both ran from the back of Cracker Barrel through a vestibule into retail I remember looking over my shoulder seeing Gerald on the floor, evidently he fell turning that last corner in retail before we hit the front door.

Gerald drove that day and I couldn't remember where the car was. "Where's the car," as I scanned the parking lot. He pointed and took off with me on his heels. He handed me the keys and I took off with my emergency flashers on I must of been doing 80 m.p.h. as I went down frog hill passing two cars.

I was saying I have to call Josh. (Gabbie's biological father) Oh god Gerald the pool. Gabbie loves water, yet she still can't swim with her only being 2. What if a child molester picked her up. What if she's hurt. These where the things I was thinking about. I don't really remember if I actually said them or not.

I got to my house in 2 minutes, literally. I got out of my car and Lanita, my babysitter, opened my front door and I screamed, "Where is my daughter? Where is Gabbie?"

"Stephanie, I don't know."

"Where's Christian?"

"At the police station." I turned and ran the whole block and a half to the Sheriff's Office. As I run up to the police station there is an ambulance there, I go to walk into the office and there's my daughter. What a sight to see, she is standing there with 3 other women as soon as she sees me she starts screaming for me. "Momma, Momma, Momma." An obese woman with short brown hair, a red sweater and jeans picks her up and tries to turn where she can't see me. Gabbie immediately starts hitting, kicking, and screaming trying to get to me.

A police officer with the Waynesville Police Department, Gwen, comes through another glass door and says "I need you in that room." I noticed that Christian was sitting over her right shoulder in a chair. I tell her, "No, I want him." She tells me, "You'll have to wait in line." So, as I sit in this room and get questioned by both the police and a lady by the name of Jeanne James from DFS I realize I can't hear Gabbie anymore. I look over at Christian and ask him, "Where is she?" "She's right there," he tells me. A male officer starts yelling something at him for answering me. I sit in this room answering question after question while looking at Chris for reaffirmation that my daughter is still there.

Finally, they get done with the grilling and I get to see Gabbie. The relief I felt when they let me walk out of the Sheriff's Office with my daughter I can't put into words. DFS of course has opened a case on me which I will get dismissed.

They don't know that I know more about them than they know about me.

I know I can protect myself thanks to the laws listed on www.fightcps.com.

I know I have rights.

I also know that my family's rights will not be violated. I will not let them be.

DFS or CPS definitely has a fight on their hands with me.
